Anise Hotel in Hanoi
- Great location, great breakfast...a must stay..you wont be dissapointed

- This is a great hoitel for the price. It is clean, rooms are fine and staff are most friendly. The only dis-advantage for me is the location. It is at the boundary of the old quarter which is no problem during day but more so at night. Having said that I have nothing but compliments for this hotel.

- I sayed standard single room at Anise Hotel for 2 nights in late August. The room is very clean and nice (although it lacks Vietnamese touch). However, the service level, especially that of frond desk staff, is below average. Their service quality and English level vary widely for each individual. I felt that the hotel chose staff for its (fashion model-like) looks rather than experience or English level. Finally, I want to add that they charged me $30 for one day Halong Bay tour, which is $20 at tour agency.

- Was a very nice hotel to stay and breakfast was quite good too

- Staff extremely courteous and friendly and organised day trips to Halong Bay and booked bus tickets for me without any problems. Excellent hotel

- After staying 5 days in Anise it was not so bad, the interior was fine with the minimal contenporer design, the cleanlines is fine but they do not have turndown service for 3 star hotel.

- Good stay. New Hotel and close to Old Quarter area. Value for money. Good breakfast. Nice and clean. Only disadvantage is no Swimming Pool and no net phone even in surrounding area.
Review by: Nand Kumar Lathker

- I would definitely stay here again, even though it was a little out of the way. We had a more expensive room, so I'm not sure what the economy room would be like, but ours was very nice. There are cheaper hotels that are closer in to the center of town, but if you don't mind the commute and/or price, it was quite pleasant.

- Very helpful, friendly staff. Excellent value for the money. Everything worked!

- Extremely sweet and helpful staff. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is much more than we expected. The girls serving breakfast with a big smile is just the perfect way to start out the day.

Just 65 km from Hanoi, Perfume Pagoda is located in Ha Tay province which boasts the highest section of limestone mountains in Vietnam. The pagoda itself is situated in a huge cave built into limestone cliffs and can only be reached by boat as there are no roads. Then we have a two hour drive through the picturesque countryside and back roads to the village of Duc , where we get on a small boat for a one hour trip up Yen Vy stream to Thien Tru Quay . According to legend, one mountain in this range, was home to a kind-hearted, dutiful princess who underwent many hardships, and great danger to pay a ransom for the sins of her father, the king. Due to her self-lessness, courage, and great acts of devotion, she later became a Buddha. Moreover, in the 13 th century, one king marched over this land and with the eyes of astronomy, he named it the kitchen of heaven (Thien Tru). Later, this land became the sacred place for Buddhism– followers to come and pray for happiness, luck and good health .

Welcome to Anise Hotel Hanoi!

We found this delightful place in a great neighborhood just north of the Old Quarter in Hanoi. The hotel is brand new, opened in March 2007. The lobby, and rooms are decorated in lovely contemporay, clean lines with wood floors, rattan and black laquer furniture and clean white linens. The place is immaculate and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is equipped with a flat screen tv with cable, a mini bar, safe, and free internet connection for lap tops. They also have free internet computers downstairs.

Breakfast is in a wonderful top floor cafe (yes, there is an elevator) --also beautifully decorated with fabulous views of the city. The food is great. Not a buffet, but a nice little menu with delicious and appealing dishes for breakfast.

The neighborhood is excellent. Very close to all of the action--easily walkable to most sites with lots of nice cafes and shops in the neighborhood. It seems like a up and coming Paris or New York neighborhood.

Anise Hotel Hanoi

This boutique hotel has been newly built and situated in the centre of Hanoi. The Anise Hotel offers 42 quiet guest rooms with excellent views of nearby Hang Dau Public Gardens.

Located on Quan Thanh street, by side of Hang Dau Park, the hotel is just few steps away from the Hanoi old quarter and in walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake, convenient for any visit of this historic part of Hanoi.

The hotel decor is contemporary Anise in style with neutral tones and tasteful fabrics throughout.

42 rooms and suites at Anise Hotel are well equipped with deeply comfortable beds. In line with good beds, you will enjoy good breakfast served at Anise Cafe on 11 floor.

Our recent hotel inspection, the standard room has no window and our team recommends you the superior room up if you like the quietless and city view. Deluxe Room is larger than Superior with a nice city view. We like the Park View and Anize Suite. If you travel with 2 children, Anize Suite on 10th floor is an excellent choice.
